Acceptable Use Policy

Walytic is built for conversations customers want. Here is what you can and cannot send.

Last updated: November 2026

01The short version

Walytic is for messages your customers expect: replies to conversations they started, updates about orders and bookings they made, reminders they agreed to, and announcements to people who opted in. If the person you are messaging would be surprised to hear from you, do not send it through Walytic.

02Allowed uses

  • Transactional messages: order, payment, shipping, delivery and account updates
  • Appointment, booking and renewal confirmations and reminders
  • Customer support and sales conversations initiated by the customer
  • Follow-ups with leads who contacted you or requested information
  • Marketing and announcements to contacts who gave clear, recorded opt-in

03Prohibited uses

The following are not allowed on any plan and lead to suspension:

  • Messaging bought, rented, scraped or otherwise third-party contact lists
  • Cold or unsolicited promotional messages to people who did not opt in
  • Using multiple numbers, number rotation or proxies to evade WhatsApp limits or blocks
  • Phishing, impersonation, fake giveaways, investment, loan, crypto or job scams
  • Adult content, gambling, weapons, drugs, or any illegal products or services
  • Harassment, threats, hate speech or misleading health and financial claims
  • Anything that violates WhatsApp’s Business Messaging Policy, Commerce Policy or Terms of Service, or local law

04Your responsibilities

  • Collect and keep a record of opt-in before sending marketing messages
  • Identify your business clearly in every conversation
  • Honour opt-out requests immediately and remove those contacts
  • Keep message frequency reasonable and relevant to what the contact signed up for
  • Use the official WhatsApp Cloud API with approved templates when you need to start conversations at volume

05How we enforce this policy

We monitor for signals of abuse such as high block and report rates, sudden volume spikes to new contacts, and patterns associated with list scraping or number rotation. We may pause sending, require verification of your business and opt-in records, or suspend or terminate a workspace without notice or refund when we believe this policy has been broken. We cooperate with WhatsApp and law enforcement on reports of fraud.

06Reporting abuse

If you received an unwanted or suspicious WhatsApp message sent through Walytic, email [email protected] with the sender’s number, the message and the time you received it. We review every report.
