Plans, quotas, and how Walytic billing works

Each plan caps monthly messages, connected numbers, team seats, and AI features. Upgrades take effect immediately.

What's included on each plan

Each Walytic plan caps four things:

  • Monthly outbound messages (sent across all your connected numbers)
  • Connected WhatsApp numbers (Walytic Web sessions and Walytic Cloud sessions both count)
  • Team seats (admins + members)
  • AI features (AI Conversation node, AI variations, knowledge bases)

The exact numbers per plan are on the Pricing page. The principle: lower plans cap volume; higher plans unlock AI and team scale.

When the quota is consumed

  • A message counts when it's actually sent (not when it's queued or scheduled).
  • Failed sends do NOT consume quota.
  • Inbound messages don't count toward quota at all.
  • A connected number consumes one slot for as long as it's connected, regardless of activity.

When the quota resets

  • Monthly message quota resets on the day of the month you signed up. Day 1 of each cycle, the counter goes back to zero.
  • Annual plans get the monthly quota every 30 days; unused volume does NOT roll over.

What happens at the limit

If you hit the monthly message cap, outbound sends get a "quota exceeded" error and are NOT sent. Inbound and conversations continue uninterrupted.

The message that hits the limit is the one that gets the error; previous messages are NOT retroactively reversed. Plan accordingly: when you're approaching the cap mid-month, either upgrade or pace your sending across the remaining days.

Upgrading mid-cycle

Upgrades are immediate and prorated:

  • The unused portion of your current plan is credited.
  • The new plan's quota becomes active immediately, with a fresh proration of the cap based on days remaining.
  • Your billing cycle aligns with the new plan from the upgrade date.

Downgrading mid-cycle

Downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle:

  • You finish the current cycle on your current plan with current quotas.
  • At renewal, the new (smaller) plan is billed and the new caps apply.

If your usage exceeds the new plan's caps, sends start failing at renewal. Plan accordingly.

API key usage

External API key sends count toward your monthly message quota same as in-app sends. The API itself is not metered separately.

Trial mechanics

The 14-day trial gives you the Professional plan's full feature set. No credit card required. At day 15, your account is paused (existing data preserved) until you pick a paid plan.

Common questions

Do refunds work?

Yes, within 14 days of upgrading. Email support. Annual plans are refunded prorated for unused months.

Can I freeze my account temporarily?

Yes. Email support to pause for up to 90 days. Connections, flows, and history are preserved. Sending is disabled.

Are Walytic Cloud per-conversation fees included in the plan?

No. Walytic Cloud uses Meta's official Cloud API; the per-conversation fees are billed by Meta directly. Walytic doesn't mark them up. Walytic Web has no Meta-side fees.
