What you'll need

  • A working WhatsApp account on a phone (the SIM that owns the number)
  • Walytic account (free 14-day trial signs up at app.walytic.com)
  • A few minutes of attention

Step 1: Open WhatsApp Connections

After signing in, go to WhatsApp Connections in the sidebar. You'll see a "Start New WhatsApp Client" panel at the bottom of the page.

If you're connecting via Walytic Web (the QR-scan transport, recommended for first-time users), make sure the Walytic Web tab is selected.

Step 2: Enter your phone number

Type your full WhatsApp number with country code, no plus sign, no spaces, no dashes. Examples:

  • India: 919876543210
  • US: 12025551234
  • UAE: 971581209232

Click Connect.

Step 3: Scan the QR code

A QR code appears on screen. Open WhatsApp on the phone that owns this number and:

1. Tap Settings (Android) or the gear icon (iOS).

2. Tap Linked Devices.

3. Tap Link a Device.

4. Point the camera at the QR code on Walytic.

Within a few seconds, the QR disappears and the session shows Connected in green. You're ready to send.

What just happened

Walytic now has a linked device on your WhatsApp account. It can send and receive messages, see chats, and run automations. Your phone keeps its primary device status.

What to do next

If your number is brand new (registered in the last week), please warm it up first before sending bulk messages. WhatsApp puts new numbers on probation, and skipping the warm-up is the fastest way to get flagged.
